Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Today in our bible reading all of psalm 119 spoke truth!!!!!
The devil (father of lies) uses the bible for his purposes. To prevent God from being glorified and preventing the advancement of his kingdom. Jesus was tempted by the devil quoting scripture. The religious leaders tryed to contol the people and prove Jesus fake, using scripture.
Our father in heaven hates things that are not just. I today choose to Honor God in what I do and then look to people in my life to see how I can honor God even more through there guidance. What a blessing it is to Be honoring God and have those around you encouraging you in the things that God has called you to honor him in. The bible says that will not always be the case. I am blessed today, that honoring the Lord and the guidance of those around me is the same voice. What joy to know you are walking in HIS path, and LEADING others in his path.
Sometimes the path can have uncertainty and the father of lies tells you all the dangers and things you are giving up for Gods way. In Gods way I have found you dont loose, you gain, He may even tell others around you to have you question the TRUTH. The WITH LOVE we speak the truth and walk in the truth even if we are alone. I am in such joy that God has surrounded our family with others that SPEAK the truth, and live in truth.
Romans 12:17-19
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"[a]says the Lord.
Romans 12, Is guidance that is assumed secondary to the Lords commands in your life. We know that Going the Lords way is not always going to bring you to peace with man. But as we walk the Path the Lord has for us we must as much as possible "live at peace with man" the easiest way to do so is to LOVE those who hate you!
Proverbs 16:7
When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.
Peace does not come from honoring man first (because man just wants more honor). Peace comes from first honoring Our Lord then man.
God, through Paul, Paints the perfect picture..... Peace through unity between Christ and the church
Ephesians 2:12-22
Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
14For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, 16and in this one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
19Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household, 20built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
What a Beautiful picture of a beautiful dwelling place.I love the word dwelling!!!!!
